Position Overview:

I'm seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and fun individual for the role of an Insurance Account Manager in our locally owned Desjardins Insurance Agency.  We are a full-service agency specializing in Car, Home, Commercial and Life Insurance. Your opportunities are endless!  We are growing out team through this addition, as such, this role will require the right candidate to demonstrate a desire to achieve uncapped compensation through a combination of a competitive salary thats reflective of your previous experience, plus an unlimited commission structure through your "grow a business, within the business" mentality.  Your ability to nurture and grow relationships with clients is the key to your success.  If you speak a second language, awesome!

Earning Potential:

$50,000 + uncapped commissions

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop client leads, schedule appointments, uncover customer needs, and present appropriate products and service solutions for car, home, commercial and life insurance business
  • Leverage product and sales process training to build your desired income earning potential 
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and extraordinary client experience
  • A typical day may include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, transfers, prospecting etc.
  • Working alongside the team and Agent/Owner in growing the business while developing yourself for advancement in the business
  • Be excited about the opportunity to learn and develop yourself in an exciting career

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience would be considered an asset (outside/inside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, customer service)
  • Be self-motiviated through achievement of your own success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity and desire to learn
  • Familiarity with Social Media tools and willing/comfortable using them to interact with clients
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to obtain your Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses (we will pay for and support you in obtaining these if you don't already have them)
