Position Overview:

I'm seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and fun individual for the role of an Insurance Account Manager in our locally owned Desjardins Insurance Agency.  We are a full-service agency specializing in Car, Home, Commercial and Life Insurance. We are growing our team through this addition, as such, this role will require the right candidate to demonstrate a desire to achieve uncapped compensation through a combination of salary and unlimited commission structure by bringing your "grow a business, within the business" mentality along with your ability to nurture and grow relationships with clients.  

It is critical that you bring passion, capacity to learn, and a "seek to grow" mindset.  Although desired, it isn't necessary to have your insurance licenses, the right individual is more important to me.  We will provide the training and development necessary to be successful while also sponsoring you for the required regulatory licensing if required.  You can have confidence that the current team of 4 will be fully vested in your success through on-going training, development and collaboration.  You bring the knowledge and awareness that it's relationships that lead to successful results in growing a business.  You will be a strategic partner working with clients in articulating the problem you solve with the solutions you present.  If you have a desire to work in an environment that is fun, collaborative, energetic, offers opportunity for development and advancement as the business grows, along with an uncapped income potential, this is the career you've been looking for.  Our team LOVES what we do, LOVE being part of this great community and want you to FEEL that too!

Earning Potential:

$50,000+, uncapped commission & bonus structure

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop client leads, schedule appointments, uncover customer needs, and present appropriate products and service solutions
• Leverage product and sales process training to build your desired income earning potential 
• Provide prompt, accurate, and extraordinary client experience
• A typical day may include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, transfers, prospecting etc.
• Working alongside the team and Agent/Owner in growing the business while developing yourself for advancement in the business
• Be excited about the opportunity to learn and develop yourself in an exciting career

Requirements:

• Previous sales, client-facing work experience is desired (outside/inside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, etc.)
• Be motiviated to grow through achievement of your own success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Social Media tools and willing/comfortable using them to interact with clients
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to obtain your Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses if you don't already have them (we will pay for and support you in obtaining these if selected for this role)
